(Emergency Update) The Space Environment Just Turned Dangerous...

A new solar storm has just hit Earth faster than expected, immediately after Earth experienced a G1/G2 geomagnetic storm, meaning we're preconditioned to experience more strong geomagnetic storming. The 4 astronauts of the Artemis II mission are now traveling to the Moon in Orion beyond the main protective sheath of Earth's magnetic field, only being loosely protected by the magnetotail, and radiation flux is already elevated nearly to storm levels. A new sunspot 4409 has grown rapidly over the last 36 hours and is exactly in the strike zone now, and I estimate there is an 80% chance it explodes with a high m-class to x-class solar flare today or tomorrow. All the while a sungrazing comet is rapidly accelerating towards the Sun and will perform its perihelion in ~24 hours on April 4th.
