Florida Mom Takes Kids on Intense Police Chase After Committing Murder

A Christmas Day custody exchange in a Gainesville Walgreens parking lot turned deadly when Amanda Janzen opened fire on her child’s father and another woman, killing 31-year-old Anna Haslup-Terrill and injuring Thomas Williams. Janzen then fled with her children in the car, leading police on a dangerous 13-mile chase before being arrested. More than a year later, she pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and multiple related charges and is now serving a life sentence at a Florida women’s prison.
