As much as I hate his character, Ryan Phillipe plays the creepy slimeball role to absolute perfection.
being a lawyer just seems like a role that McConaughey was born to play; also have to give props to the talent he's surrounded by in this one: Phillippe, Tomei, his supposed doppelganger Josh Lucas (lol), Leguizamo, Cranston, and William H. Macy who can excel in any role no matter the size
Fun Fact: Matthew McConaughey became a spokesman for Lincoln cars in 2014. Also, it's a very underrated awesome movie with one of the most deserved beat downs EVER in movie history! I am glad you're one of the very first to have reacted to this movie and deservedly so since it's always the best reaction.
You gotta read the books. Connelly's greatest characters - Bosch, Haller, Ballard... they're all fantastic!
