Sitting bedside for 3 hours or more with patients doing their dialysis treatments, small talk gets exhausting. I will be looking into this more and hopefully have even better conversations with my patients. Thank you!😊
“Crazy weather huh? Btw, when’s the last time you cried in front of another person?”
Such a fan of Charles. When I was in high school I read his book and emailed him some follow up questions. He actually responded and thanked me for my interest, I’ll never forget how cool that felt.
Agghhh been waiting for this guest!! My lazy Sunday podcast sorted. ❤
This was such a joy to listen to! Sometimes ppl who are interviewed seem a bit dead inside but you could feel the joy coming from him and it made me smile and really drew me in like i was part of the conversation - i guess i should expect nothing less from a great communicator! Loved this, definitely will give it a listen again
To communicate is to care. 😊. I read if there's no communication there's no relationship. Communication is very important . Liked this topic😊👍 Godspeed everyOne 🙏
Okay, I have to throw this thought out into the world before I forget it: I am lately wondering a lot about how the rules of communication online and offline differ and what problems arise, when we mix them up. So what if, like he told us about the telephone, to get through to other people online, we have to dial up the emotionality even higher than for the phone. But then young people who learn a lot of their communication online, have to learn to instead dial it down, when they are offline.
This is very true. I was quiet and shy as a child I only became interested in earning a living after high school and in college decided to take communications courses to learn how to make friends. Network and communicate to be successful in sakes and the business world. I managed several branch offices and stores only a few months and years after graduating.
