This is an excellent episode. This really hits the nail on the head of where the real rift in American society lies. It is also somewhat reassuring that the likes of David Brooks is starting to get it. The culture war is the real issue in America; class remains a very minor issue among the non-elites of all classes. America cannot be saved until this fundamental truth is understood by more people, including the ones we elect.

I didn’t vote or even support Trump in 2016 because it wasn’t until he won the the gross media bias became apparent to me. I’d listen to him speak then compare it to the coverage and thought this is nothing like what I inferred.
