Really? Or is it just a backdoor for Pegasus that was found?
local compute is king
As a long time developer, this reminds me of the Y2K scare. But a lot of devs plugged the holes back then for a relatively non eventful year 2000 … because the devs did their jobs mostly. I hope the security teams can use these models to plug as many security holes in the big important firms as possible to plug the holes before it all hits. If they do, the wider audience wouldn’t even know what just happened and they’ll still be shouting hype 😂
I love how AI is finding all the intentionally left back doors.
Imagine being trapped in a expensive and closed ecosystem and still not being safe
LINKS AND (1) MINOR CORRECTION: quick correction: at 20:49 I mention OpenClaw skills. The "mass event" specifically talked about OpenClaw and OneClaw being used, the "OpenClaw skills" was a separate thing, I didn't make that clear. So... OpenClaw was involved, but the weaponization of OpenClaw skills was referring to something that happened earlier (moltbook, I assume) LINKS: Apple’s Security Has Been Tough to Crack. It's Patchapalooza. 😊.
I agree it’s not marketing but it is a loss leader. The banks will never go back to not using Ai models like this.
Just finished putting my OpenClaw ecosystem together and rigging it up to my in house hardware. It pulled Qwen TTS, wrote me a page to capture voices or upload voice samples and mimicked my voice from two sentences. The world is not ready for what’s coming. 😅
