So he agrees with Gary’s economic observations. And, disagrees with his fashion.

He’s dead on about land taxes. He’s agreeing 100% with Gary about taxing wealth not work, even highly paid work. He’s agreeing with him on taxing assets and especially extractive rent seeking. Good to see this as not an argument between right and left. Henry George sounds interesting

One thing that people never mention about Gary's wealth tax plan, is that he talks about taxing wealth above a certain amount, and regularly mentions £10million as a starting point. I think people leave that out just to scare anyone with a house...

As someone who loves both Gary and Rory, this just proves we need to see them both have a discussion. It would be fucking epic!

I’d wager most of us don’t “piss 80% of our income up the wall”. We spend 80% of it on surviving.. Rent, bills, food etc.
