This man is describing what is essentially a gambling addiction.
I work in a company where we are forced to use AI for everything to the point we have to provide a weekly report on how AI benefitted us that week. I can’t wait until the bubble pops
The AI psychosis, as he describes it, where you couldn't stop working because you needed to get the next prompt in. I been describing that as Productivity Dysmorphia.
It’s an addiction. It’s no different than people that can’t wait to hit the slots, or drag the cigarette, or BASE jump the next biggest thing. It’s a dopamine response feedback loop.
Generating lots of boilerplate for an entire project is like receiving a lot of free puppies.
Why are we giving addiction cute names
