People don't give enough credit for Ser Arlan of Pennytree, despite being a hedge knight he managed to feed and raise that scrawny Flea Bottom kid into a man size of a castle wall.
"Wine. The oil will kill him" ' Baelor saves him twice!
Rest in Peace Baelor the Based, the best King that never was
I didn't even pick up on first watch that when Baelor says "visor's cracked" his helm doesn't have a visor. It shows that Baelor's vision is damaged, the first sign something is really off.
3 things were missing, Baelor telling them to use tourney lances instead of was lances cause they’re longer, the a knight who remembered his vows line, and Raymun revealing his new sigil
The only sad (or bad) part of this show is how it shines a light on the absolute state of most the other shite coming out of Hollywood … from the show runner to the producers and directors and the main cast, everyone involved seemed genuinely eager to stay faithful to the book … what a SHOCK that this led to the best show I’ve seen in absolute ages
Baelor is like Edward the Black Prince. Wins major battles in the hundred years war. Dies before being king. Considered the best knight of his age. His death leads to the war of the roses almost a hundred years later like the games of thrones in westeros.
I don't think I've seen anything this brutal since Braveheart. I appreciate that they kept it to his viewpoint, but I wouldn't have been mad if they had just shown a few more fights near him like maybe the Fossoways going at it. Really wanted to see Steffon take a few hits.
Btw the actor of Dunk gave credit to the illustration in the graphic novel for the armour design.
5:40 House Beesbury's seat is Honeyholt. The Tully muppets are Oscar, Kermit and their father Elmo. Oscar is the kid we saw in season 2 of HOTD. The kid who stood up to Daemon.
