I believe it should be possible to be critical of the policies and actions of the current government of Israel without being labeled an anti-Semite. If it isn’t, we have a problem.
I watched 33 minutes of this before taking a break and reading the comments. Thank God for the comments!
A lot of people are against genocide, no matter who is perpetuating it. I refuse to support genocide, NO MATTER WHO IS DOING IT. PERIOD.
The United States doesn’t send tens of billions of dollars to Peru
This was an unbelievable conversation trying, without success, to excuse the war crimes committed by Israel under Netanyahu.
It’s only a few minutes in, but I am astounded at Frum’s statements so far. For armed settlers to be allowed to throw Palestinians off their own land and seize it, for those settlers to be allowed to even shoot said Palestinians, is unforgivable. For Israel to be allowed to deny medical care and education and basic safety to Palestinians on an ongoing basis is unacceptable. And I definitely believe Israel has a right to exist and to exist in peace. I am not buying that being shocked and disgusted by the actions of a certain Israeli government equates to antisemitism.

Saying that me disagreeing with Israel means I’m no better than a medieval peasant with a pitchfork participating in my local pogrom is probably not going to win over very many people.
