Description

Many Democratic primaries in 2026 have been hashing out America’s relationship with Israel, because Democratic voters’ opinions of Israel have taken a nosedive the last three years. Pod Save America and Pod Save the World co-host Tommy Vietor joins Sarah to discuss the role Israel-related politics has played in the 2026 midterms, and the role it may play in the next presidential primaries. There are more tickets to see Sarah and JVL on September 8 in NYC! We are about to sell out the orchestra section—but we want to sell out the balcony, too. It’s a point of pride. Come hang with us. Tickets are here: (https://www.92ny.org/event/sarah-longwell-how-to-eat-an-elephant) Become a Bulwark Youtube Plus Member here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG4Hp1KbGw4e02N7FpPXDgQ/join

I don't just want him out I want him, Ben-Gvir, Smotrich, and anyone else involved in this genocide locked in chains for the rest of their lives.

Two narcissistic criminals that only care about them staying in office so that they don't face criminal charges...

Nobody is falling for the bait and switch. It is not Netanyahu alone- it is the entire Israeli government. Again- the entire Israeli government.

AIPAC defeated the moderate Democratic congressman in my district in NJ because he once mentioned that we should condition aid to Israel. I've been to Israel 3 times, have good Israeli friends but I don't see the difference between Russia interfering in our elections and AIPAC interfering. We have to stop this.

Blame leaders, not citizens in the country? Just like here, Israeli citizens chose their government!!!

I will say this. My mom is a boomer moderate democrat. She has never been a Bernie Sanders democrat and she has never really been that into politics. She just reliably shows up and votes for the people with Ds next to their names every 2-4 years. She was one of the like 5 people that was actually excited about Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020. THAT SAID, even her opinions have been shifting. She thinks America needs to cut off Israel ENTIRELY. She thinks we NEED to pass universal healthcare and get money out of politics and do a moratorium on new datacenters. She wants this Supreme Court composition fixed by ANY MEANS NECESSARY. She wants the Trump regime criminals in prison. She has never voted in a primary election in her life, and she will be voting for Oliver Larkin to oust Jared Moskowitz this year. She wants Chuck Schumer out of the senate. She has become a big Mamdani fan. All of her friends except the MAGAs have made similar shifts. A lot of these positions that were considered far left positions a few years ago are becoming moderate and even slightly bipartisan positions among the electorate. The labor revolution is here, and at this point the establishment dems can either shape up or get the hell out of the way

I'm a Babyboomer and Independent. I've always swayed more towards the left. I cancelled cable and I no longer listen to or believe mainstream media. I never watched Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens. I do now. I listen to both left leaning and right leaning podcasts. My eyes have been opened more in the last two years than ever before. I don't want the taxes I pay to our government paying for wars we shouldn't be involved in. It infuriates me!

The "war" vs "genocide" thing isn't just woke semantics to the left. They genuinely believe getting public figures to call it a genocide will force international legal action and that anyone who hedges on it is costing lives in the meantime. You can disagree with them, but don't dismiss it without a counterargument.
