"No, of course we didn't steal the code for Claude. We simply *trained* our model on it, and it was able to reproduce it! And you surely definitely don't have any problem with training models on dubious data scraped from the internet, do you?"

The Streisand effect describes a situation where an attempt to hide, remove, or censor information results in the unintended consequence of the effort instead increasing public awareness of the information.

This couldn’t have happened at a more perfect time. These guys were in SF this weekend from Korea doing a hackathon called Ralphathon… designed to build code without touching your keyboard after the specs are given. The ability to claim that you never saw the code when they ported is bolstered by their Ralph loop process they perfected.

Well I'm currently running my own version of Claude Code. I have the original version and have fixed it. Currently running Qwen 3.6 preview that just dropped from 0Auth API key, no session limit, no API restriction as long as I hold 1000 requests per day. Been working very well, Qwen 3.6 feels on par with Opus 4.6 with some % smaller coding capabilities. I have stripped away functionality I don't need and the 'Claude Code' feeling is a ton faster. I'm stunned by all the findings inside the original repo, it was definitely vibe coded
