The TRUTH About Trump, Iran, Israel, and Whether We're Really at "War," with Glenn Greenwald

Several comments, first, I heard Glen Greenwald comments about a power vacuum. I believe that is why the Trump administration has been from the start looking within the present government to determine if there are any entities that are not hard line devout theocrats to assure that the remaining Iran government no longer seeks nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles nor try to block the Strait of Hormuz. In the alternative, probably the preferred choice would be for the citizens of Iran to reclaim there own country. I don't believe that either way, we will have troops on the ground to establish a new regime. Based on what I've seen, it will be only Iranian developed (either internally with acceptable government person or from an internal uprising. Second, the US has been working on alternate weapons to take out drones and missiles due to the high cost of interceptor missiles. The US has just started to equip our navy ships with Helios system. This is a high energy laser based system to knock down drones and missiles as they cost barely a fraction of the cost of interceptor missiles. Third and finally, the reason for the attack is that Iran was only several weeks from actually having a nuclear bomb. Iran had 460 kg of 60% enriched uranium which they had removed prior to the 2025 US bombing of their nuclear enrichment sites. If enriched, this was enough for 11 bombs. Subsequent to the attack in 2025, Iran had constructed enough centrifuges enabling them to start to enrich enough uranium to product a nuclear grade bomb. Based on reports, this could have been ready in 2 weeks.

How did you come to declare your opinion to be "the truth". What special investigation did you do?

I think it is clear that nobody knows how this is going to turn out. Nor could they, not even the "experts". So rather than borrow trouble, it's probably just best to wait and see, as we will know a lot more a week from now, or two weeks from now, as to how this is actually going. Hoping for the best is about all any of us can do, without expecting the worst until it happens.

So leaving enriched uranium in the hands of lunatics is fine? And they do have it - it's not just US media, but even the Russians admit it. Come on, Megyn, think dear ;))) It has nothing to do with Israel per se. Look - even the Gulf states are turning against Iran now. Abraham accords not signed yet working.. this is long long overdue

I just heard you guest say there wasn’t a direct threat from Iran to the US. Who in their right mind doesn’t think that if Iran had a nuke that it wouldn’t park it in NY to kill 10million Seems like a direct threat to me
