New engineers trying to reinvent the wheel, let's put a water pump inside the motor with 2 timing chains turning it, let's put a rubber belt in the oil pan to turn the oil pump, CVT transmissions are great and go karts, let's put a monitor in the tail light so when it goes bad you can't start the vehicle I could go on forever

Unless the technology is reliable to 300k miles it should not be on the vehicle

The problems are not nickel and dime, they are hundreds and thousands.

I agree, time to go back to analog gauges, and simple cars that basic mechanics can fix.

I can't understand how people can afford to pay a mortgage on some of these new cars and then they end up being junk. Years ago you got more car for less money and if you had to repair it you pulled it in the yard and fixed it yourself.
