Charlie thinks he's playing bots, they're probably a couple of journalists and developers desperately trying to keep the game alive.

"Fake game that someone is playing in a movie" is the most accurate description I've heard of this game. That is EXACTLY what this game looks like LOL
imagine a competitive game so unpopulated that the entire player count can literally brag about being in the top 500 players for a competitive shooter
For 40 dollars, you can be one of the top 500 Concord players in the world.
Charlie can add "Best Concord player in history" to his resumee
the healthbar working backwards still hurts my eyes
Modern devs LOVE UI clutter. I don't know how or why they develop HUDs that take up so much screen real estate, but they really want you to see the portrait of every player and giant health bars. TF2's default HUD does it way better.
I have a theory that most players in this game do not actually enjoy it; they just want to get on the same Lobby with Charlie.
