Can we agree that, in general, women in HR is more detrimental than positive?
I would like to add, some time's Bosses throw their employees under the bus to make themselves look better.
i’m a lazy guy, but i’m lazy on my own time. work is for working.
If you fire somebody, and don't remove their access BEFORE the conversation, you are not bright. I have witnessed MULTIPLE employees take "revenge" before their access was cut off.
The real outrage here is that HR sucked at handling this. Idk why we even have HR people, they’re completely worthless as far as I’m concerned.
I'm not lazy, just freaking tired of bullshit.
I used to work 80hr weeks out of college. It was not worth it.
I can’t agree with Tim on his points here. As a 37 year old millennial who busted their ass at a job and constantly went above and beyond time and time again, only to be basically told “screw you” when it came time for me to get promoted, your view on this is not the norm. The company ended up giving the job to an extremely unqualified individual who had basically zero experience in the job but had a master’s degree and who knew how to boot lick the right people. Corporate America favors the dumbasses who toe the company line and fuck over the actual good, hardworking people who literally keep the company afloat.
Tim, there’s a big difference between working nonstop behind a screen (for a business you own) and working nonstop (physical labor or otherwise) for a company that doesn’t really care about you. No one is going to care about your business more than yourself. That’s just human nature. There’s more of an incentive and feeling of accomplishment/ownership when you work for yourself, that makes putting in long hours feel less demeaning.
I like Tim but as someone that lifts thousands of lbs a day loading trees into trailers and cutting them up im getting tired of being called lazy by people that sit and talk for a living.
