Good luck Canada. You can do it and we need you to. With love from 🇺🇸
I'm keeping an eye on tax changes since they impact company profits and investor sentiment.
I don’t think there is anyone right now who doesn’t think that Canada needs to develop industry, retool existing infrastructure, expand trade, but it needs to be done thoughtfully, thinking into the future, we are not the last generation that will need clean water, resources, energy.
We’re at a turning point in history. We must adapt at all costs and work differently from now on. New alliances and partnerships will be necessary. Long live Canada.
Well put Jay! Every Canadian needs to listen to this.
We aren’t collapsing, we just want to be free and have a good life.
I went to Europe with my Mother by Ship in 1960! It took 10 days one way. Cheapest way to go at the time! Canada can be GREAT! WITH THE RIGHT LEADERSHIP!! GO CANADA!! GO!!!!
Just one important addition I would make especially if you are speaking in Canada. Canada banned slavery in the Upper Canada Act Against Slavery 1796. Yeah Canada!
Sales pitch material and not very good at that. I can't decide if he's ill informed or deliberately misleading. I have nothing about exploiting our natural resources but the first mistake to avoid is to push further our drawers of water and hewers of wood tradition. Serious economic studies of electricity, as an example, show that the more significant economic returns occur at the consumption site, not at the production site. The electricity (and oil) produced in this country and sold to the US yield nearly an order of magnitude more benefits for the US than it does for Canada. And the similarly for the raw minerals extracted. Transformation of our minerals and use of energy in the country to the maximum extent possible must be part of any plan to revitalise our economy or we will definitely miss the boat.
If Canada wants to get ahead and be truly wealthy we would use the resources that are available to us presently and when the country is more financially stable we can develop new technological energies that perform properly in the Canadian environment and are better for the environment
