Description

“True bravery is still doing what you believe in, even when you’re scared.” Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, education activist, and bestselling author, returns to The Daily Show to chat with Jon Stewart about her new memoir, “Finding My Way.” They talk about how much her life has changed since she first visited the show at 16, including graduating college and getting married, and how she came to realize she doesn’t have to be perfect. She also opens up about managing mental health and societal projections while pursuing activist work and the school for women she founded in Pakistan, which just graduated its first-ever class. #DailyShow #MalalaYousafzai #JonStewart Subscribe to The Daily Show: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwWhs_6x42TyRM4Wstoq8HA/?sub_confirmation=1 Follow The Daily Show: Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheDailyShow Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thedailyshow Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedailyshow Stream full episodes of The Daily Show on Paramount+: http://www.paramountplus.com/thedailyshow Follow Comedy Central: Twitter: https://twitter.com/ComedyCentral Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ComedyCentral Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/comedycentral About The Daily Show: Jon Stewart and The Best F**king News Team host The Daily Show, an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning program analyzing the biggest stories in news, politics, and culture through a sharp, satirical lens. Not only did she deserve and earn the Nobel Peace Prize, but she has lived up to honor it with the things she has done since getting it. The world is just a bit better place with her in it.

I remember Jon's original interview of her. So glad she was able to survive, thrive, discover herself and still help so many. Wow. Time flies.

I remember when they showed us the news of her attack in my high school. She's only 2 years older then me and I begged with all my heart that she would make it. Then 2 years later I made art with my class that was auctioned off and the money donated to the Malala Fund. Amazing people aren't perfect. Keep doing you!

My daughter has been a big fan of hers since 6. I'm so happy that both girls grew up so much. So happy and proud of the young ladies who are changing the world!

I'm so glad she took time to have fun and make friends at college and didn't miss normal experiences. That's so important for all the difficult and serious work she does. 💜

What I find so anguishing today is that in our country today there is such an utter lack of grace. We have become mean, even cruel. She is a welcome dose of grace at a time when we really need it.
