I’m local and went down to the courthouse today to see if I could get a seat. I wasn’t sure what the crowd would be like, but I was easily able to sit in the courtroom. I also attended a bunch of the Vallow and Daybell trials, and this one was in a different courtroom. This one doesn’t have any windows, which will be much better for the camera. Before, those big windows were nice if you were sitting in the courtroom, but I saw a lot of people online say that it made it really hard to see anything. When I was in the courtroom, and the judge first started talking and said the thing about not starting with untruths, I thought to myself, “oh damn!! Emily will die! I can’t wait to see how she responds to that” 😂😂😂😂 Emily, you did not disappoint.

I could tell you I am happy to be here but why start with an untruth!!!! You need to do a sound bite of that!😂

I’m glad this judge is more strict! Both the prosecutor and defense have acted out in court in an unprofessional way! I like this no nonsense judge!

I almost fell out of my chair with the judge's opening remarks! I absolutely love his no BS attitude.

In a nutshell: if I ever screwed up and ended up in criminal court, I would want Judge Judge to preside. If a crime was committed against me, I would want Judge Hippler to preside. Period.

I like this new judge.he is not going to play with these ppl.
