Always refreshing when a reactor watches just a good solid movie - free of action, of nostalgia, and not one that every other reactor is doing. i hope you do more just good quality movies

Da'Vine Joy Randolph deservedly scooped up an Oscar for her portrayal of the kind, grieving Mary. Dominic Sessa impressed me as Angus, and I was surprised to discover that it was his first major role. Finally, Paul Giamatti was terrific as always, really giving life to Paul.

I'd pitch this film as "Dead Poet's Society Meets The Breakfast Club." It's a simple story, about three lonely individuals who make each other feel a little less lonely during the holidays.

Dominic Sessa, who plays Angus, was a student at the school where this was filmed. He auditioned and got the part. This is his debut role. Fun little factoid. :)

This movie is an instant holiday classic. The vibes and performances are simply top-notch. I was so happy when Joy Randolph won the Oscar. She bodied this role. Also, Paul Giamatti is awesome in pretty much everything he's in.

Paul Giamatti’s character in this movie was sort of hiding from the world, so getting fired might be the best thing that could have happened to him.

This movie is great and Alexander Payne and Paul Giamatti were amazing in Sideways. Paul Giamatti plays a best man taking his best friend to the Santa Barbara wine country, but all his friend wants to do is have an affair before he gets Married. It’s a really good character study and a lot of fun:)

I immediately fell in love with this movie after first seeing it. The cast, the acting, the screenplay and of course the character development were all on top. I was flattered that it got nominated for best picture, even though it didn’t win.
