the thing i’m still pissed about is how the netflix doc and legal system just brushed past the fact that the mom, a grown ass woman was making such sexually charged comments about a literal minor, like how is she not at least some sort of predator
Please keep in mind that the mother was doing this instead of applying for jobs to take care of the daughter she was bullying.
The police should have absolutely separated Lauren from her mother before telling her anything. Her mother “comforting” her when she finds out she has been harassing her for years just is so unhinged, violating, and creepy.
Let’s be real, that woman was sexually harassing those children. There is no possible excuse or explanation to send explicit messages to minors! That “mother” is a creep.
When the kid said she forgives her mom and wants to be with her, right there I knew the mom's manipulation was complete.
The fact that she spent less time locked up than she did doing this to her own daughter....like this went on for 2 years and her sentence was less than that...make it make sense
Her sentencing was shorter than the amount of time she harassed her own daughter! Outrageous.
this woman needs to at LEAST be charged with being a fucking preadator. she was sending sexual messages to 13-14 year olds, for TWO YEARS. and she's walking free??? the legal system is so fucked
