I fully agree with Mr. JOHN HELMER's views on the conditions and demands that Russia will have to impose in order to ensure its long-term security. This is subsumed within the victory of this war. I also believe that Gorbachev and Yeltsin committed high treason by withdrawing the Soviet army from the Eastern countries, MAINLY from Poland and East Germany. It is all the more irresponsible to have withdrawn the Russian armies without demanding in return that the United States withdraw its soldiers from West Germany.
We often learn more from headbutting than ass kissing. Great show guys.
This show shames our national media here in the states.
As someone who lived throught the 90s and 2000s as a young person, I disagree with John's saying that only the elites were pro-Western at the time. Most of the generation of then young adults, however bitter about the destruction of our country, looked forward to the warming of the relations with the West. We were inspired by the prospect of the friendship, cooperation, joint development, innovation, freedom of travel, etc. The World War II and post-war generations felt differently. Mostly mourned the loss of our way of life and the county they faught so hard for. And yet, even they were hopeful. Our hearts were open. It wasn't until the Ukranian betrayal that we all realized that cooperation was never the West's game plan
*THIS* is why we love ❤ The Duran. Two super guests and a fantastic format 👍
I am speechless. One of the best shows that the folks of Duran have put on!
