When grabbed, peel back the pinky of the hand. Show your daughters this method. The hand will automatically release its grip. Practice!
I've posted this same thing elsewhere but I remember hearing from a self-defense instructor that if calling out for help is the only option then 'help' (see Kitty Genovese) or 'rape' or 'murder' are not the best words to attract a crowd. No word works better than 'fire!'. Not many people will think 'Someone else will deal with it' and roll over and go back to sleep if they think a raging out of control fire is anywhere near them. Apologies to anyone who's already read this bit of advice but if it ends up helping even one person I'm glad I reposted it.
Another reminder for me to make better content and NOT go on vacation. Thanks Joel.
I am so sorry about the loss of your dad. However when you said a truck piled high with junk my first thought was to get at least 6 car lengths behind him in case some junk fell out and safety for a quick stop. Again truly sorry for your loss. So glad your mum found a great guy you all like. Seems hard to do Reading abt all the step parents.
story 3 reminds me of our families terrible vacation in Florida.first day there my mom fell down some stairs and broke her ribs. she spent the rest of our vacation in the hospital
23:00 now I'm wanting to know what she brought up to "make Mark livid." 😆😆😆 Anyone else curious now?
That last story is tragic. It really just shows you how doing 1 simple thing can be life saving.
The last story breaks my heart. This is why driving terrifies me
I love the thing with the flamingo inner tube. He’s starting to creep me out after staring at him for thirty minutes though. Haha
Was literally thinking about what to watch on Youtube the same second I got this notification
