Lawyer Reacts | 7M Defamation Lawsuit. The Girardi Suit part 2.

KJ has been on a tear on insta about this 7M stuff since the end of February. She has proudly showed off canceled contracts and lead everyone to believe she did it. She has said he trying to run people off the road in his car, is taking tactics from North Korea and is similar to Kim Jung Un, and more. I will say I have some questions about 7M, but I can’t watch Kj cover it because she gets herself right in the middle and personally involved. The story is now about KJ. I did not think that is what journalists do. She really needs someone to take her in hand and teach her how to not get sued.

It sounds like in cases like the Lion Air case, the insurance needs to pay to a 3rd party financial institution appointed by the judge who then distributes the appropriate percentages to the lawyers and the plaintiffs and submits an accounting within 30 days of receipt to the court.

This is one of the most disturbing and disgusting things. When the documentary came out about this, it never occurred to me that someone, a lawyer at that, could even think of taking money that didn't belong to them.

The larceny of Girardi et al never fails to make me angry, sad, horrified and disappointed at the same time. I have been involved in Law Society investigations of defalcation of trust funds by lawyers, and I know that we are all human and are capable of doing bad things. To hear that Tom Girardi influenced/bought members of the California Bar Association so that all those earlier lawsuits against him were never considered grounds for starting an investigation that may have prevented over 500 million dollars to vanish is a guide on how NOT to investigate and discipline lawyers and unethical behaviour. Thanks for such a balanced commentary.
