Pro tips! Emissions (red storms) absolutely eat your armor away. And if you are holding a gun out during one it will destroy your gun too. When an emission starts, put your guns and armor away and run to the nearest building, the building has to be at least partially enclosed, can’t have a bunch of gaps in it. Considering that repairs are cripplingly expensive this is good to keep in mind. Also vendors only accept guns 40% or above and the more you use a specific vendor the more money you get for selling to them and purchases from them are cheaper., only pick up guns under 40% condition if you have no other option. Use Skifs pistol as much as possible as it is very cheap to repair and easy to find ammo for. Also if you are bad at headshots, get armor piercing upgrades at the technician, they massively reduce the number of body-shots needed to kill an enemy. Remember that money is easily used and hard to come by! Sell all of your grenades, unused ammo and artifacts and only keep a necessary amount of heals and food on you. Good luck stalker!
