Hey everyone, just a few corrections to take note of. I accidently said December instead of January at one point in the video. ALSO there is an incorrect date label below the accurate USGS timestamp that is from my streaming software (OBS) that I forgot to update/remove since episode 38. I was traveling today and basically went live as soon as I checked into my hotel so thanks for your understanding

I live 15 miles as a crow flies from this lovely eruption and the USGS is incredibly vague. Just a year or two ago they finally admitted the 2 volcano's on the islands can affect one another. Duh. What I can tell you is large earthquakes here either start, end, redirect or divert the lava flows. And yes Kilauea is affected by solar storms. Boom Shakalaka!

Here in the Philippines, the Mayon volcan started erupting on the day 11 of January 2026, too.

Finally! Someone else comes forth. Thanks Stefan! They have been downgrading and plain old not reporting the data. You have to go to alternate sources, academic sources, foreign services, and observatory stations. They are doing the same with the weather as well.

I've noticed I usually need more rest during lots of solar activity. I also raise an eyebrow at anyone who tries to say volcanos and earthquakes aren't related 😂 lol. I'm thankful for all your videos.
