When I heard the keywords, Student protest, Nobel peace prize winner, pro democracy… I knew this is the same movie we’ve seen over and over again… Different pot, same recipe.
This is almost a carbon copy of what happened in Sri Lanka.
“A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA” — Alan Weinstein, founder of National Endowment of Democracy (NED). This is what happened in Bangladesh. “The new world of spyless coups” - Washington Post, 1991
Bless you, Brian for your dedication. It is most appreciated.
Why don’t countries kick out those NGO that are really just puppets of NED? Singapore kicked them out and recently HK changed its la allowing them to charge them so they left HK as soon as that law was enacted!
3 points to the situation. 1. There is already a civil war in neighboring Myanmar, so the United States is creating a vast source of instability between India and China, which in the long term could involve these countries in an indirect military clash if they want to restore order in nearby regions. Something like Ukraine, which provokes a war between NATO and Russia. 2. Russia is building a nuclear power plant in Bangladesh and termination of the contract will damage Rosatom’s reputation. 3. Former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the US was involved in her resignation: “I could have stayed in power by giving up the sovereignty of St Martin and giving the US control of the Bay of Bengal.” As The Economic Times writes, citing her entourage, in the past she refused to provide Washington with the Bangladeshi Island of St. Martin in the Bay of Bengal for an American military base.
Venezuela US already commenced this game against democratically elected government
Very easy to understand why this happens: Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Iran, Bangladesh - all vital overland trade corridors that connect China to the rest of the world.
yes what you describe, this is how the US ousted Zhan Videnov in Bulgaria in the 90s
The moment I heard about a student protest.....
