Thought it was bed time. Nope. It's time for class.
This channel feels like the only place of refuge on YouTube… not because it promises to fix the world or human nature - but rather it fearlessly produces evidence that we as individuals are not insane for feeling disturbed by evil (despite constant gaslighting/indoctrination that the State knows better than the pleading of our own hearts). How many millions of souls silence their hearts with drugs/SSRI’s, just to survive power structures leeching their kinetic/creative energies.
School was Professor's villain arc.
Bro doesn't waste time
In 2008 prof found out everyone hates the smartest person in the room.
Prof casually dropping his villain arc lore
Shoutout to that 1 girl who's always asking questions
This lecture explains EVERYTHING I have ever experienced in schools, either as a student or later as a teacher. In 2011–13, I attempted something similar to Prof. Jiang, but I failed as miserably as he did. I was kicked out under the pretense of "budget cuts because of the financial crisis." The system I proposed made students work hard, but they absolutely loved it because it was one of those classes that not only stimulated but respected their imagination and individuality. However, little of that mattered to my bosses because I made two mistakes that a player in this game should never commit: (1) my superior class made every other feel boring (and the teachers look stupid), and (2) I outshone even my own boss, who was actually enlightened enough to be on board with me (initially). After two years, I was replaced by someone who was absolutely hated by students but knew how to play the game perfectly. I was so naive that I expected to be promoted as a very good and popular teacher, and couldn't understand why the other guy was chosen, LOL. So, thank you Prof. Jiang for providing such a thorough explanation. As an autistic person, I have always taken things at face value, but these classes help me understand the world as it is. I struggled a lot trying to understand what was going on and made many mistakes along the way. I have a feeling we might share some of that. :)
