Description

Police bodycam footage from the investigation into Hulk Hogan's death was just released, revealing new details about the moments before and after the wrestling legend went into cardiac arrest. The footage includes interviews with caregivers, first responders, and Hogan's occupational physical therapist, along with a paramedic's claim that CPR may not have begun as early, or been performed as effectively, as previously reported, raising new questions about Hogan's final moments in Clearwater, Florida. They both didn’t know how to do CPR. What kind of OT and home health aide are you?

So weird, the PT said he performed CPR for 8 min. But as a medical professional trained in BLS and first aid, you are trained to do CPR until EMS arrives. So for him to stop before EMS came is unprofessional and not acceptable.

For all the "experts" stating they were taught proper CPR = rib fractures.. RN here 30+ years. Previously ACLS certified. Worked level 1 trauma, ED, ICU, step downs. I've performed CPR on actual humans hundreds of times. Sometimes ribs break, but not always. If ribs break, it's usually thin, frail, elderly, or people with cancer in the bones. Hogan was a beefy dude, muscular, but yeah elderly. You compress to a depth of 2 inches or 1/3 of body habitus for adult CPR. Unless a patient has osteoporosis or osteopenia, rib fractures are not be 100% expected with proper CPR. Not commenting on what happened here, just trying to give a dose of reality to those claiming he would definitely have broken ribs with CPR. That's a bogus claim. Also it IS possible he had 8 minutes CPR no fractures. Then a new guy starts and rib snaps...almost like it had already been stressed/compressed for a while and finally gave out. It happens. CPR is not like snapping twigs with instant fractures. Ribs cage/ bones are attached to ligaments etc and have some flexibility on compression.

With the money he had I’m surprised he didn’t have an actual RN taking care of him

This is the issue with confidential work; the lack of information in reliance to the job results in negligence.
