I know "a magician never reveals his secrets", but I really appreciate that a lot of the magic tricks in this movie were explained. It made things a lot cooler to me.

This movie really said "Let's do the insanity of the later Fast and Furious movies... but with street magicians." And they made it work. 🤣

Mark Ruffalo & Dave Franco have confirmed in interviews that Franco actually cut Ruffalo's face when throwing the cards during their fight scene.

The 7 of diamonds isn't a statistical thing it's purely the way he flicks through the cards. It's done in a way that the 7 of diamonds shows for just a split second longer than the others so it stands out to us as the only card we recognise.

I think he does genuinely like her, which is why he revealed everything. He wanted her to see that the way he treated her was just an act. He hadn't expected her to show up, and he had to improvise a bit while falling for her.
