As a Brazilian myself, I can assure that we are so ashemed of this case. The police force handled the situation badly since de beggining, and the midia made everything worse ....it's really sad, she could've survived.
The cops and media killed this kid 😡
It’s sick asf that he was so obsessed with a child. And that everyone was convinced that she should marry him. So sick! So wrong!
Honestly, I can’t wrap my mind around all the terrible decisions of so many in this case. What a tragedy.
What a total cluster! Publishing pictures of her collapsed father was a complete invasion of privacy. Police bungled every step. When they sent Niara (sp?) back in, where were her parents? She was a minor and I as a mother would have refused. Someone had a key, why not stage a swat move? They had cameras trained on the apartment. Advertising police plans was INSANE!!! Police are as guilty as Lindbergh. Why not agree to a "wedding" and save the 15 year old "bride" once everyone was out??? My heart breaks for this poor girl, failed by everyone. As for the media, they can be utterly revolting. I am absolutely stunned by all the errors made in this case. Calling Lindbergh a "romantic" when he was a malignant narcissist, victim-blaming Aola(sp?) was horrific. RIP Sweet girl💔 ✝️
28:45 This actually became a case study of what not to do in journalism universities and police graduation courses here in Brazil.
I've never heard any police work that was worse than this. Sending a fifteen year old girl back inside to a nut with a gun is ridiculous level of criminal.
This is just sickening. That they let it drag on so long. None of this needed to happen. Seems they were more star-struck with media than teens being held hostage. Yes, the police did it ALL wrong. Geesh.
Brazilian here. That one was hardcore. That's 100 on the police... I watched live. I couldn't BELIEVE when police send her friend back in
The police, the parents, the media are ALL Clowns!
