"The New York Times" ran a piece of blatant anti-Christian bigotry. The headline image is specifically anti-Catholic bigotry. The whole piece tells you all you need to know about our journalist class. If there is a conflict between Christian values and American values, it is not a hard choice for me which to follow.

The values of the Catholic Church aren’t meant to be American, British, Swahili, Australian, el Salvadoran, etc. they’re Gods values. If you disagree with Christian values as a whole, thank you for picking your side of the fence.

In his Bible in a year program, father Mike Schmitz pointed out that the "eye for an eye" law was used by God to impose LIMITS on punishment, in a barbaric world that previously would have gone much further. God was limiting the amount of retribution to a level of fairness, when in the past, much more severe punishments, including death could have been meted out for small offenses. So that law actually places a just limit on punishments, it does not raise the level of punishment. It was God's attempt to begin to civilize and set apart the nation of Israel.

She's outraged by the stoning of disobedient children, but I bet she's fine with "pro-choice."

🔥 ♥️ June, for centuries, has honored the Sacred Heart of Jesus. We must denounce the notion that we as a country be coerced to celebrate sins of Pride.

In other words, the person criticizing the Bible has never read it. She probably doesn’t even know anybody who has ever read it.

The eye for an eye thing is a warning AGAINST over punishing. You know over punishing, like when someone gets fired and canceled for saying dumb at some point. Or saying something that’s actually true
