Thank God for the drone footage or we would never know the real story.

Neil Roberts is a family member of mine. We miss him dearly. We are so proud of him for fighting until the very end. He will forever be our hero. I just wish he coukd be there for his son. He was only a baby when he passed away. He always wanted to be just like his dad.

Justice for John Chapman!! He deserves his own exhibit at the Medal of Honor Museum.

Shawn I may have said this before but documenting these stories is so important. These sacrifices will not be forgotten. Future generations will benefit from this work. Your library of posts is the most wide ranging of topics of anybody by far. Thank you for all you do.

I remember first watching the video of this battle years ago and couldn't help getting teary eyed watching. The sacrifice these soldiers make I could never repay in a lifetime. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I just wish you were all taken better care of here at home.

This is such a fantastic edit. As somebody who was 16 when all of this happened, and Who only knew bits and pieces of the story until the video footage was released officially, this really, really allows you to see it in your mind's eye. Thank you to all of these men, and of course those who lost their lives that day.

I knew Sra Jason Cunningham when he was in the Navy. We were roommates in Naples Italy. He was a hell of good guy back then.

God bless Chappy, Roberts, Jason, 160th crew member and Rangers who lost their lives. Bless all those who were there and survived as non of us can know the heartache they suffer.

What the Navy and Slabinski did to Chapman's name afterwards was vile. Slabinski didn't rate the MOH.
