You often need significantly more to create a therapeutic effect. Vitamin D is arguably the most important vitamin for your health. Most people do not get enough, and with chronic health conditions, the need increases. Vitamin D can improve your mood, cognitive function, reduce lower back pain, and decrease the risk of cancer. Magnesium is one of the most important minerals for your health. It is vital for vitamin D function, energy production, sleep, and more. You need 4700 mg of potassium each day, and most people are deficient. Potassium can help support healthy blood sugar and blood pressure levels. Many one-a-day vitamins are unnecessary. They often contain cheap, synthetic ingredients and fillers that do not benefit your health and may even make matters worse. Vitamin D3 and K2 (1:03-3:16): He recommends 10,000 IU of D3 combined with 100 mcg of K2 to support mood, bone density, and immune health, while preventing calcium buildup in soft tissues. Magnesium (3:17-5:50): He highlights magnesium glycinate for its high absorption rate (80%) and benefits for sleep, energy production (ATP), and muscle function. Electrolytes (5:50-7:36): Specifically focusing on potassium, he emphasizes its importance for heart health, blood pressure, blood sugar support, and preventing fatigue, especially for those on a keto diet. Omega-3s (7:36-9:14): He suggests fish or cod liver oil (EPA and DHA) to combat the pro-inflammatory effects of high omega-6 intake and to support brain, heart, and joint health. Trace Minerals (9:14-11:10): He notes that modern farming practices leave soils depleted of essential trace minerals like zinc, iodine, and selenium, making supplementation important for hair, skin, nails, and hormonal health.

Sunlight, meats, eggs, fasting, sauna, exercise. That’s best vitamin. Sadly, in the UK, we don’t get much sun, I take D3+k2, Magnesium, NAC, Nattokinase, tumeric.

As a physician, I can tell you most seniors are not suffering from a lack of supplements. They are suffering from confusion caused by marketing. Simplicity matters more than people think 🙏 Wishing everyone here strong health and a peaceful day.

It would be great if you could break up the trace minerals for us. We can buy them in a single capsule, but I noticed that it has zinc and copper together (not a good idea), as well as iodine, which is not great for some people. This is what one product contains: Macro Minerals: Calcium (50 mg) - as calcium citrate Magnesium (50 mg) - as magnesium malate Potassium (25 mg) - as potassium citrate Trace Minerals: Selenium (50 mcg), Zinc (2.5 mg), Copper (500 mcg), Molybdenum (50 mcg), Iodine (100 mcg), Vanadium (25 mcg), Manganese (2 mg), Chromium (100 mcg), Silicon (1 mg) ty
