I don't care if this is an old podcast. I've never seen it before, and love it. I can listen to 2 of my top 5 favorite podcasters in a great decision of humanity that MAKES SENSE!!
One of the few "popular" public figures that you can ACTUALLY trust to be authentic, genuinely and actively think, forthright, and honest.
Jordon is a good human, you hope life treats him well as he's helped so many.
I love how joe barely got a few words in haha. Jordan Peterson is a rare specimen.
What I love about Joe is that he doesn't interrupt his guests. He asks the most interesting questions and then just listen.
“Ok… hell’s magenta, you know.” might be my favorite sentence ever.
'Social media is a great place to garner unearned social reputation.' Amen
I'm back here because an Oxford student took a statement out of context and absolutely twisted it in order to trap Peterson. He was not having it.
As Hebrew speaker and a guy who was born to Judaism and bible stories I think Jordan is telling biblical stories on a level that Rabbis would be honored to have a meeting with him to discuss his views on these stories. My late grandfather knew the bible in Hebrew by heart to the point where you can name him a book, a chapter and a paragraph and he would quote it verbatim. The reason my grandfather stopped going to the synagogue in the last decade of his life was because the rabbi there didn't have his wits and understanding of the stories so my grandfather just didn't find interest in going. Jordan has that and more, please keep on the good work Jordan, you've lately caught my attention and from seeing videos of you I was really moved by the compassion you have towards people, and your moral compass. When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set.
Re-watching this has been an absolute gift.
