Such an underappreciated and underrated movie. That rooftop scene with Leo and Raph was so good.
This movie was such a good time
TMNT 2007 is a banger
Leo: We strike hard and fade away into the night Shadow: The night shines even though the star is gone
Chris Evans was a hockey player before he became Captain America. 😂 🏒
Sounds like the sequel was gonna set up “The Last Ronin”
I always felt this movie was sort of a bridge between the 90s movies and the 2003 show. it sort of blends the continuity of each together
I love this movie, I consider it the fourth TMNT film and in the same continuity as the 1990's films. Apparently, there's some debate around that and evidence to support both sides.
the rooftop scene IS still the best TMNT scene / dialogue exchange in its franchise LEO: "...and more, importantly... I'm better than you" - i'll never forget it.
I think the beginning was meant to show Leo that he needed his brothers to deal with threats that harm so many people. He wasn't there to train, he was just as good when he came back if not a bit better but he misunderstood the point of leaving. His actions over there were good, he saved many people but he was just one person in the end and the threats there weren't all gone when he left. It's like the foot. He could beat them up all day but without his brothers he would never defeat them. Leo always respect his brothers but he is like Raph in that he sees himself as the best. He needed to stop that thinking and realize the team is always better together
