Ah, back when documentaries were made by real people, used real images, and were narrated by actual humans. I miss these-YT is loaded with AI dreck now.
Modern Marvels is a national treasure.
The narrators voice brings back my childhood, i used to watch this all the time with my dad
I swear, even those most boring subject matter would be interesting/fascinating on Modern Marvel’s, one of the best shows ever
I come back and watch these when I want to just relax and be happy.
So this episode is from 2006. I enjoy watching many older bits of entertainment, but I really appreciate knowing up front how old the information is
There needs to be an updated version of this episode made, Cobalt would be more highly recognized now.
My wife always asks me how do you know all this stuff. I realized that I grew up watching the history channel she grew up watching MTV
My hat is off to the workers of those metals. Some of them, especially uranium, are exceptionally dangerous to just be around.
I miss Modern Marvels.
