3rd story: Been sculpting since I was a kid, sold several pieces(no where near that much) but never have I heard or been offended by such a mundane question. As long as someone pays, then no offense taken.
I make really good money doing art, and when someone asks me about material costs or suppliers I’m extremely forthcoming with information. It’s extremely easy to tell that op meant “how much did you charge for labor?” Or “how much does creating a piece cost you as an artist?” Since he is obviously not an artist himself. Any artist who assumes this is a rude question or is afraid of sharing their revenue margin has some ego problems to work through.
For the third story, the only reason to not be transparent about costs is to over charge your clients. It's fine to value your work, but there's really no reason to hide costs.
"To perform foul acts upon her..." 😨😨 "... Toilets" 😮💨
3rd story im a crocheter artist and believe me we all talk about material cost. Not once have i ever seen artists not talk about the materials. I have seen artists brag about how much their time was valued and their time being paid for
First Story: Nothing like accidentally walking into the wrong apartment to nuke a bathroom lmao. Good thing the lady was chill about it but I have no doubts she was upset about her bathroom being a nuclear wasteland after OP blew it up 😂
"What kind of food do adult workers usually eat?!" 😂😂😂 She's a call girl, not a cat!
I don’t see an issue with asking about material cost, it’s honestly very interesting understanding the value of material vs skill/labour. My gf is an artist and when she made me a piece, it was the first question I asked. It led to a very interesting convo and she wasn’t even slightly offended. I was still very happy paying full price, plus the tip later on.
2nd story just kept getting worse and worse…and worse. Being nervous is normal, blaming others for it and using it as an excuse to go “whatever! I give up! They all hate me anyways bc they’re all awful! >:(“ is not normal. If he wants/ needs a deeper connection before getting down to do the mamba jamba then maybe he should, oh idk, actually talk to and get to know some women? 😭
Spaghetti before intercourse is called carb-loading. Unintentional pro-move.
