Just seems like a humble, good, dude that actually took his Oregon education seriously. Not something you see everyday in the NFL. Pretty great to see, and seems like someone that kids should know and take after.

I’m an OR guy and I met Justin when he was a 18 yr old frosh. It was after he had his first couple of starts back in ‘16 at an alumni function. He was with his dad and he was just so polite and humble and quite frankly he didn’t think he was that good. ‘16 was a rough yr for the team and I remember telling him just keep your head up, keep doing what you are doing and your family and community are extremely proud of him. He said he just wants to do all I can for the team and if he wasn’t the QB help that guy. Incredible. I told him the job is yours job to keep and he said I hope so and thanked me. I was with my then 12 yr old daughter and I told her that’s the guy you should want to marry. She rolled her eyes but being 21 now she gets it. Special guy. Big fan even when his playing days are over.
