Found Quin about 3 years ago when I was wanting to know more about Dune stuff, but had only read the first book, since that day, ive read every Dune book from father and son. Maybe the lack of effort from the fashion distinctions in the lansrad scene can be explained by how early this new Empire is, just 2 generation post-butlerian jihad, they’re just holding their ground as a human-ruling Powerhouse, their wealth is at its infant stage, even the Corrina house are not yet established as a noble house compared to for example house Richoses. 2 generations removed from the warriors that won the war, at its infant stages of its human-only empire
