We, in Scotland, are trying to get rid of NGOs. They have caused havoc in Scotland! We’re getting there ….but 10 wasted years!!

Get these NGOs out of your countries

(Western) German here. I remember how everything after unification NGOs became big and how they were celebrated in the media and in class rooms. Teachers indoctrinated us how great globilization was (I remember asking myself why, just like way way back I asked myself why they wanted me to be afraid of cults like the Hare Krishna when Baghwan was a thing - I always was a sceptical kid and hated double standards), the same teachers praised NGOs like Attac and Greenpeace. It was a time when all left parties in the West changed dramatically - First the Democrats under Bill Clinton, then New Labour and then the Social Democrats of Germany. And today... does anyone still recognize their country and is the culture and business culture still what you would call home? From 1989 till 2001 we saw massive changes and then 9/11 was used to push even further. I'm glad Russia is resisting most of this BS. Hungary is trying too. Hope is not lost.
