So, the second story looks like it has an update, it's titled 'My (27M) girlfriend (26F) found the anniversary gift before I did... and I finally came clean.' But the mods of r/relationships removed it (it looks like, cause OP didn't include a link to the og post) and it was removed to fast to be archived by any of the sites that can grab removed posts. So uh, it looks like it was found eventually.
