Hi Candace, I am an anesthesiologist. I want to let you know that what happened in the operating room will uncover the case. There's no way the OR team that treated Charlie doesn't know what happened. We discuss everything related to our patients, especially someone like Charlie. I am confident that the surgeons, anesthesiology team, and OR nurses have been talking about the cause of the injury. It's surprising that no one has shared any information. If I had to guess— and I am almost certain— they pre-selected the OR team for Charlie, choosing the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and circulating staff who were present. I believe they were all influenced or compromised. This situation is very odd.

I'm a circulating nurse in the OR at Utah Valley- I was at work that day- my understanding is we were locked down because we were told there was a shooting at UVU which is nearby, and we weren't sure how many trauma victims might be coming to the hospital because of that. They like to make sure they have staff available to care for potential mass injured patients. Once we found out there were no other victims (and he went to Timpanogos- which I though was weird- our hospital is a trauma II facility (as opposed to trauma III) and is much larger and more state of the art- at the time I thought maybe they just googled the closest hospital and that's what their gps told them?) but once we knew there were not mass injuries to care for the lock down was released.

Speaking of TP USA newsletter, I haven't heard anyone comment on the one they sent last month. In the news letter, erika referred to the people that did this to charlie. She referred to them as "they". Plural. I thought she was convinced that a single man killed him.
