Which of these durable skills do you think are the most important?
I graduated high school without being able to multiply fractions or subtract negative integers. Sal is the reason I got A's in Discrete Math, Calc 1-3, Linear Algebra, Real Analysis. He's the reason I am able to graduate next year with two bachelor's.
One of your better guest, no hype, a real hero who actually built something that millions of students myself included can credit with their academic success, especially in Math. Great job landing Mr Khan
I’m a self taught computer science student and wouldn’t have made it as far as i have without this man. I’ve been following his pre algebra course (I plant to take all the way up to pre calculus) and thanks to his teachings I’ve been able to understand the math and algebra behind much of the computer science I’m learning. Khans teachings on proportions, and lines and rates, and early algebra have been instrumental in helping me to understand things like algorithms, big O notation, asymptotic analysis of algorithms. Adding number series and even a little Combinatorics. Ive constantly been returning to the concepts I’ve learned with khan academy pre algebra as I continue along the self taught path as a computer science student. Thank you for all that you do Kahn. You make it possible for people who may not be able to afford a high level of education, like myself, can still dream and work towards being an engineer or a scientist or even a robotics engineer.
I like the way this guy thinks. So refreshing to see someone in education with real vision.
Sal helped me graduate high school and undergrad by learning through his YouTube page. This was early 2000’s. Sal has always been a leader in the digital education. I’m glad to hear from him.
One piece of advice that really resonated was finding the "empty lanes" instead of competing where everyone else is. AI is lowering the barrier to building, but curiosity, adaptability and good judgment are becoming even more valuable.
I learned a lot from Sal, he is a phantastic teacher
I hears his voice for too many times during learning, feels comforting, thank you Sal
This man is legendary for real, all learners that have learned on khan academy kwnow that i said.
