can't wait for Primeagen 10 hour reaction to this.
Love to see our man representing the programming community. Prime has done so much to change the way online programming content is made.
hi. Feel very blessed to have been part of this. Thanks Lex for letting me on and share my story. Just want to make sure there is no confusion. When lex asked me about my life he said "Meth Addiction" then asked me to tell my life story. I proceeded to tell my story. You will notice i did talk about my adventures into drug land but porn was my big enemy. I used meth many times but it was not a hard time quit. I had to walk away from friend groups. It was a small side quest and only represents a small amount comparatively of the changing part of my life. I don't want anyone thinking it was larger than it was or mistakenly thinking that. I tried to make that clear. Porn by far was a big one and took many many years to quit. I just had the chance to listen to this now and could see a potential confusion point.
Love to see Prime on the big stage! Such a good guy. Stoked for this one
I have never heard of this gentleman but seeing the overwhelming positivity in the comments section, I am going to give this a watch.
Unexpected to see ThePrimeagen on here, I just know this will be an interesting conversation.
The most impressive part about Primeagen isn't even his talent as a software engineer, it's his ability to communicate and make it entertaining. He has a unique way to grapple with technical high level concepts and make them accessible to his viewers imo.

When I was looking for motivation to code, I stumbled upon the Primeagen. For about a year I had been on and off due to studying abroad in Japan and finishing the rest of my degree. Sometimes I'd touch Leetcode or look into learning something new, but the motivation was not there. And right around the time I met my current girlfriend 6 months ago, I found his content. The first thing I noticed is "Dang he is talking about absolutely advanced stuff I have no idea about. All I can recall is the syntax and some data structures and algorithms." but his content captivated me. The enthusiasm made me want to try again and build my way up to that level of understanding. But I noticed another thing. He got distracted like me when reading. He always went off topic, but he was thoroughly invested in coding. Then I heard more of his story, and I saw so much of myself in him. The ADHD, Christianity, productivity, addiction and much more. I think since my father's death, I have always been searching for a role model, and I finally found one. For that, I thank you sincerely.
