Description

American entertainment giant Rob Reiner spoke with Lesley Stahl this past October about the bold choices he made to launch his directing career—a career that would go on to include American cultural touchstones including "A Few Good Men" and "When Harry Met Sally," among many others. Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found deceased at their home in Los Angeles. "60 Minutes" is the most successful television broadcast in history. Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news, the broadcast began in 1968 and is still a hit, over 50 seasons later, regularly making Nielsen's Top 10. Mr. Reiner seems much younger than 78 in this Oct 2025 interview. So full of life.😢

“I’ll have what she’s having.” will be right up there with “Here’s looking’ at you, Kid. “😊

So this film will be a farewell to Reiner as well. He begins and ends his directing career with Spinal Tap.

He didn't deserve that! Neither did his wife. That was a terrible way for both of them to perish. RIP Mr. Reiner

Known even more for being a quality human than the film legend who will always remain in a class all of his own.
