I give some credit to Id Software for at least wanting to try something new rather than reprint the same game with a new skin
I like the added difficulty with the hardest enemies being the random crashes. Hardest difficulty in a game by far
Charlie was in the dark ages trying to get the game to run.
Charlie's answer: Charlie finds the game good, however out of the 3 games it's the worst
I like that they said the crashing was a known issue with the update drivers yet everyone was all "Charlie you're doing it wrong"
The fact they ID have made a trilogy where each entry is a different FPS is awesome. It gives each game its own identity and a reason to return to it.
Dark Ages is really good (when it doesn’t crash lol) but I knew from the reveal that it would be hard for it to be widely accepted as better than Eternal, because from what I’ve seen and heard Eternal is the perfect Doom game for a lot of fans
