It's absolutely infuriating that they got more time than Duggar. They deserve a new trial!

I was unfortunately a victim of the IRS system not having everything recorded correctly, When my mother passed, she left me a sum of money. The IRS charged me for getting it twice. After 3 tax companies, 2 lawyers, loads and loads of work by myself and over $10.000 I was finally able to get them to amend the record. It has caused me so much hardship and credit issues. I had liens on my house and land that are still not taken off that I am still working on. The IRS can do all kinds of things to you and you believe you are doing all the right things. It is sad and very scary. I feel so much for the Chrisley's.

Now I do not like the Chrisleys one teeny tiny bit. But this case scares me. They denied all motions with a tiny paragraph? The government literally ADMITTED to it being false information, and still nothing can be done? That’s terrifying. That this could literally happen to anyone who can’t or doesn’t have the means to fight back against it. It screams “well, we need to make an example out of them.” The gov LITERALLY said that it was false information. You know how funny the situation has to be for the government to agree with you about them being wrong!

I hope they get a new trial. Thank you Emily for keeping us informed.

When this whole thing started, I believed that they were probably guilty of what they were being accused of because there are so many checks and balances meant to keep government organizations like the IRS in check. Now I think it's pretty obvious that even if they initially were guilty it doesn't matter. They absolutely deserve a new trial and appeals.

Extremely interested in this trial and how this court could ignore due process. Corruption from the judge, the irs officer and the prosecution?? What a mess!🤔

Please continue to cover this. I have been fascinated by the IRS’ actions and believe that the Chrisley’s deserved a new trial. Thanks Emily, from one of your Canadian fans 😊

Please keep us updated on this. There are things in the case that just don't seem right. Errors need to be corrected. There must be fair and right justice in all cases.

I don’t know if the IRS can still do this but when we had the problem with the IRS, they told us we had to pay the money before they would even talk to us. We didn’t owe them the money, didn’t have the money to pay them so they would talk to us so it could be cleared up and,of course, didn’t have the money to hire an attorney. We had someone who was able to help us get it cleared up and it didn’t cost us anything. It’s scary when the IRS comes after you and you feel you can’t fight them.
