The series stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall (known for Bad Sisters, Wreck, and Small Things Like These), who leads the cast alongside Dexter Sol Ansell as his squire, Egg (featured in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Christmas on Mistletoe Farm, and Midwich Cuckoos). Joining them are Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen (True Detective: Night Country, The Nevers, and Hope Gap), Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen (The Crown, Dalgliesh, and Les Misérables), and Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle (Tiny Beautiful Things, Servant, and Alexander).
