Where I grew up in the 90s- early 2000s it didn't matter what color you was we was all poor 😂
I think the most interesting thing about this interview is learning that Afroman is 49
Much respect for Steven to give Afroman some much needed attention, for such an old stoner hes seen and witnessed a lot throughout Americans history and it's politics.
Afroman story: My friend use to visit Venice beach (1996) California every week or so to walk around. We where at his place drinking and he puts on a new cassette tape and laughingly tells me this guy's name was Afroman. He told me he's some guy with a big Afro selling his tapes on the beach. He asked Afroman how much and he said $5 and my friend said "I only have $3" and Afroman said ok and sold him the tape. We laughed about it every time his music came on. I cannot remember what songs (Or any of his hit songs) were on the tape or not but he was out there in the hot sun hustling to try and become successful in music and looks like it worked. Sure maybe he was lucky but i'll bet if he wasn't out in Venice or out selling his tapes he wouldn't have been discovered. Happy for the guy.
IM FROM FRIGGEN PALMDALE!!!! Grew up there till I was 26. Knight way! Love me some Afroman!
I smoked a blunt with afroman in Bloomington, Indiana, at kilroys sports bar years back.
You know gerald is squirming like hell with all this language 🤣🤣 thx so much for doing this episode.
Afroman is definitely someone i ever expected to see on the show lmfao
Couldn't leave a comment, because I got high.
Today, Afroman won the lawsuit brought against him by those cops. Played several of his parody songs to the individual cops during the trial. It was hilarious.
